An important component of the PSCU marketing and outreach strategy is its liaison network comprising of a cadre of members from Head office and branches in Trinidad and Tobago. Membership is open to any person desirous of providing service through the active recruitment of members to the Credit Union.
Liaison officers are trained to provide information on the philosophy of Credit Unionism and on the product and service offerings of the Credit Union. They also interact with members and so serve as a conduit between the Credit Union and its membership.
Liaison officers also arrange for the Credit Union’s marketing department to conduct sessions at various office sites where there are prospective members seeking information and guidance on the Credit Union, its benefits and its offerings.
Liaison officers are recognized for their contribution in a tangible way by the Credit Union.
Meetings are held at the various locations on a regular basis .The meetings serve as a social event and provide valuable feedback to the Credit Union’s administration on issues affecting members and on questions raised by prospective members.
Certainly the aim is to have a vibrant liaison network and to increase the current membership of 56 persons who provide this valuable service throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
Members desirous of becoming a liaison officer can contact Mr. Adrian Gollop at 623-7570/8118 or an officer at the marketing or customer service departments at PSCU at 623-7570/8118.
